becoming bigger and bigger

i think the meaning of laptop is moblie computer.
may be that is true.so.people invent laptop to be smaller and smaller .
But nowadays laptop become bigger and bigger. now hp (dv 9000 edition was quite bigger 17",)and acer producted laptop(acer aspire brand) 18" also comparely bigger .now i think biggest one is dargon edition
